FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What is your MOQ for stainless steel seamless pipe?
Minimum order quantity is set per size and grade so that the heat stays economical. Tell us your target quantity and specification, and we confirm the exact minimum for your size within one working day. Trial orders are negotiable for first cooperation.
Do you supply EN 10204 3.1 material certificates?
Yes. Every lot ships with an EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate stating heat number, grade, chemical composition, mechanical properties and test results. 3.2 certificates witnessed by a third-party inspector are available on request.
Which standards can you produce stainless steel pipe to?
ASTM A312 / A213 / A269 / A270, GB/T 14976, GB/T 13296 and the GB/T 17395-2024 dimensional tolerances. Our engineers took part in drafting GB/T 17395-2024, so customer standards and agreed inspection plans are also workable.
What is the lead time for 316L seamless pipe?
Standard sizes from stock ship in 3–7 days. Mill production is typically 15–25 days after deposit, depending on size, grade and quantity. Large-diameter welded pipe and U-bent heat exchanger tube run 25–35 days.
Can you supply duplex 2507 and heat-resistant 2520 tube?
Yes. 2507 super-duplex tube for deep-sea line pipe and 2520 heat-resistant / nickel-alloy tube are two of our specialities, and 2205 and 904L are also available. These grades are made to order and quoted by size and quantity.
How is the pipe tested before shipment?
Hydrostatic, eddy-current and ultrasonic testing where specified, plus dimensional check, PMI, hardness and — depending on the standard — flattening or intergranular corrosion testing. Test reports travel with the goods.
Do you cut to length or bend U-tubes?
Yes. Pipe is supplied in 6 m or 12 m random lengths, cut to a fixed length with square or beveled ends, and heat-exchanger tube can be U-bent to your drawing with stress relief on request.
What surface finishes are available for sanitary tube?
Annealed and pickled as the standard mill finish, bright annealed, and polished to 180 / 320 / 600 grit. Sanitary tube can be supplied with ID/OD polishing and a roughness report.
What are the payment terms?
T/T with 30% deposit and the balance against a copy of the bill of lading; irrevocable L/C at sight for larger orders. The exact terms are confirmed on the proforma invoice.
Can you send samples before we place an order?
Short lengths of standard sizes can be supplied as samples, freight collect. Sample cost is credited against the first production order.
How is stainless steel pipe packed for sea freight?
Hexagonal bundles with plastic caps, steel straps and a waterproof wrap; wooden cases for small quantities or precision tube. Marking follows your shipping marks.
Do you export to the EU, and which documents come with the shipment?
Yes. Our pressure piping manufacturing licence and PED 2014/68/EU certification (EEM, Italy) cover EU-bound pressure equipment. Shipments include the EN 10204 3.1 MTC, packing list and certificate of origin.
